Tyler Jason Campbell

–

Edmonds, WA

Tyler Jason Campbell, age 44, passed on to eternal life on Monday, September 27, 2021. He was born on July 13, 1977 in Seattle. He was educated at St. Luke Elementary and Blanchet High School before continuing to Western Washington University. Tyler's youth was full of many sports including those which became his lifelong enjoyment, distance running and swimming. Anyone who spent time with Tyler knew of his great kindness and willingness to sacrifice for others. He had a most compassionate heart, always pouring himself out when he knew people were in need.

He had a spark for unique hobbies, learning new things, and living life to the fullest. Life eventually brought him his two beloved sons, Isaac and Gavin. He loved being their dad, frequently coaching their sports teams, hitting the slopes with them, visiting hot springs or just enjoying simple pastimes, games and brain teasers. Family time was treasured by Tyler. He reveled in birthday and holiday celebrations; taking the opportunity to build deep connections with those he loved. He most especially enjoyed Fourth of July at the lake (always with a swim across the lake and back). His family was so blessed to have one last trip with Tyler, to Black Butte Ranch this past summer.

Tyler is survived by his sons Isaac and Gavin, "the love of his life" Carrie Coia and her children Kai and Lila, parents, Scott and Kathy (Towey) Campbell, brother Trevor (Star) Campbell, sister Kelly (Lance) Groesbeck, and nephews and nieces Owen, Naomi, Peter, Ephraim, Nina, and Marija.
