Theresa Eileen Collins

Theresa Eileen Collins passed away peacefully on December 19, 2020 at home in Bellevue with family by her side. She had been battling a long illness.

Born in Seattle, raised in Kirkland, Theresa attended grade school at Holy Family Kirkland and high school at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart. She earned a bachelor's degree at Washington State University and a Master's degree at the University of Hawaii. For over twenty years, she taught middle- and high-school English and Social Sciences in the Hawaiian Islands. Warm, humble, affable, she was the embodiment of the Aloha Spirit and loved all things family and friends.

Survived by her daughter Nina Collins Sackett Kronberg (Martin); siblings John Jr. "Jake," Jeanie, Casey (Lynn), Andrew, Monica Manning (Joseph), Matthew (Angela), William (Lizette), Paul, Timothy (Joanna), Daniel (Elizabeth), David (Sarah), and Maria Collins Lowery (Carter). Preceded in death by her husband Joel Larson Sackett, parents John and Sara, brother Nicholas (Amy), and identical twin sister Suzanne Louise with whom she has long waited to be reunited.

Holy Family Catholic Church, Kirkland

on Thursday, January 7th at 11 a.m.
