Robert C. GOLZYNSKI
Born May 30, 1927 in Grand Rapids, MI; died August 26, 2012 at his home in Seattle. Survived by his children, Lia M. Golzynski, Daniel Golzynski, and Valerie Mims (Kevin); his grandchildren, Alicia and Anthony, and Juan and Daniel; his brothers, Jack and Don; and a large extended family with many friends.
Preceded in death in 2010 by Therese, his loving wife.
Robert was an avid outdoorsman, spending time fishing on the Stilliguamish and Cowlitz rivers and Puget Sound, and duck hunting in Eastern Washington. He taught English and writing for the Seattle Public Schools with stints at Thompson Jr. High, Franklin HS and Roosevelt HS. Robert loved reading and spending time with his family. He had many happy hours in the beautiful wilderness of Washington State. He was an excellent and honorable father and husband and will truly be missed.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, August 31st at 11 AM at St. Matthew Church, 1240 NE 127th St., Seattle 98125.
