Robert M Glick

Bob was born to Alice and Leo Glick and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, graduating from Galileo High School and the University of California at Berkeley. He met Frances Nelson, his wife of almost 50 years, at college. They moved to Seattle so he could complete a Masters in Engineering at the University of Washington.

As a structural engineer, he supplied steel to most of the high-rise buildings in Seattle and Bellevue, for many years through his company RGC Inc.

After Fran passed away in 1994, he became reacquainted with Joan Fikso, and they married to enjoy the next 22 years together.

He enjoyed golf and playing gin at Sand Point Country Club.
Bob enjoyed learning, especially technology. He was known to have the latest in tech -- be it hearing aids or iPhones. He loved collecting, traveling
and spending time with family and friends. His dry sense of humor as expressed in his Slick Glick Productions will be missed.

Bob is survived by his wife, Joan; brother, Art; children, Robin Halliday (Dan), Terry Glick, Mike Glick (Sandi), Leslie Newell, Bob Fikso, KD Fikso, and Jennifer Fikso (Jake); 13 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated
