Peregrina R. Valdez Obituary (1951

Boprn July 11, 1951 in Luna, La Union, Philippines, Peregrina went to school as a nursing student before getting married. Years after her marriage, she moved to the United States, lived in Seattle, Washington, and briefly lived in Abaheim, California before relocating and spending the rest of her years residing in Seattle. Peregrina made a career for herself working as a certified nursing assistant and then later became a stay home mother to raise her family. Her favorite pastimes included gardening and knitting. Survivors include Peregrina's husband, Bienvenido Valdez; her son Daren Valdez; her daughters Wanda and Brenda Valdez; and grandson Darryl Coaxum. Viewing 11 am to 7 pm Wednesday, January 26, at Columbia Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 10 AM, Saturday, January 29, 2011, at St. George Catholic Church. Interment Holyrood Cemetery.
