Norma "Jeanne" GALUS

Born November 13, 1928 in Wrangell,AK

died March 22, 2014 in Seattle.

Survived by John, her loving husband of 60 years; children, Paul (Janice), Mark (Bonnie) and Amy Weeks (Aaron); grandchildren, Peter, Ellie, Sam, John, Isabelle and Emma; and a large extended family.

Jeanne grew up in Haines, AK and moved to Seattle when she was 14 years old. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1946 and became a medical secretary at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Seattle. She loved reading (especially good mysteries), playing the piano, dancing, volunteering and being with friends. But her true passion was raising her children and doting on her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, sister and aunt, and a kind soul who will be missed by all who knew her. Her last weeks were spent surrounded by loving family and friends. We will treasure the memories of Jeanne, and her strength and grace will endure in our hearts forever.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 5th at 11 AM at
