Monica Anne Ferrell Fetty Obituary (1920

Monica A. Farrell Fetty Age 48 Monica was born on August 12,1963 in Portland, Oregon to Dr. Charles V. and Maryanna Ryder Farrell. She joined her Lord on May 27, 2012 in Seattle, Washington. Monica died after a nearly 7-year struggle with metastatic breast cancer. Throughout this struggle, she never once lost her radiance, nor her hope. Monica graduated from Sehome High School in Bellingham, WA and received an Associate of Science Degree from Bellevue Community College. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Monica married Robert Wallace Fetty on December 30,1995. She was employed by Nordstrom for 17 years as a buyer, manager and salesperson. However, Monica said that her greatest joy and highest achievement in life was being a devoted mother to her three beautiful children. In her short lifetime, she enriched the lives of everyone around her with her effervescent spirit and her sharp wit that she retained until the very end. It was this radiance and strength that enabled her to fight cancer for so long. Monica is survived by her husband, Rob; her children, Bridget Francis, Isabel Honor and Vincent Robert, all of Seattle. She is also survived by her brother, Paul V. Farrell of Seattle and her parents Dr. Charles V. and Maryanna R. Farrell of Bellingham, WA as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Monica will be greatly missed by her beloved family, many dear relatives and close friends. Her beautiful personality will live with all of us forever. A funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Tim Sauer at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 4900 N.E. 50th St., Seattle, WA 98105 on Friday, June 1, 2012 at10:30 AM.
