Michael Dunn

Michael died peacefully on March 25, 2013 at the Bailey-Boushay House, surrounded by his family, where he spent the last three years of his life in the final stages of Huntington's Disease. He was 67 years old.

Michael was an inspiration to all who knew him. Despite the ravages of Huntington's Disease, he bore no bitterness and he met each day with a positive, faith-filled spirit. He was happy and joyous to the end. Always quick with a smile and a hug, he charmed his devoted caregivers at Bailey-Boushay. We are grateful for the wonderful, loving people who cared for Michael. Their kindness and compassion allowed Michael to live and die with dignity and grace.

Michael is survivied by his wife of 23 years, Marie, sons Ryan and Jesse, and his siters Susan Clark (Dean), Adair Maller (Robert) and Donna Brooks (Kirby). He was preceded in death by infant son, Tyler Bolles Dunn, and his parents Dr. Edward Dunn and Jeanette Dunn.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Catholic Church, Seattle, on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to Bailey-Boushay House, 2720 East Madison, Seattle, WA, 98112-4738 or Northwest Chapter HDSA, 17406 Redhawk Drive, Arlington, WA, 98223-5954.
