Matthew Mchugh Magnano

–

Seattle, Washington

Matthew was the youngest of three sons born to Sheila & Marco Magnano on April 5, 1979.

Matthew is survived by his daughter, Cheri Jordan Magnano and her mother, Cheryl (Visalia, CA); his oldest brother, Marco III, his wife Molly and their 3 children, Mary Jo and twins, Maggie and Marco IV (San Francisco, CA), and his parents, Marco and Sheila Magnano.

He was preceded in death by his older brother, Michael on December 18, 2013; and his grandparents, Alice and Tom McHugh and Darlene and Marco Magnano Sr.

Matthew grew up in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle. He attended grade school at Our Lady of Fatima Elementary School where his basketball team (thanks to his taller teammates) won a CYO championship. Matthew graduated high school from The Dunn School in Los Olivos, CA where he played basketball and baseball.

After high school, Matthew worked in various jobs--grocery clerk, software system sales and a plumber's assistant. He loved working in sales.

After a few years, Matthew met Cheryl Franklin in Seattle. Their relationship grew serious and Cheri Jordan Magnano was born on August 7, 2007. Cheri was the love of his life. Cheryl and Cheri remained in Seattle and Cheri attended grade school at St. Francis of Assisi in Burien and later Our Lady of Fatima in Magnolia.

Cheri and Cheryl moved to Visalia, CA where Cheryl's family lives. Cheri is now a junior in high school, a member of the cheer squad, and a good athlete and student. Matthew was visiting Cheri and Cheryl in Visalia when he died.

A viewing was held in Visalia for his friends and family there.
