Matteo A Picinich Obituary (1937

Matteo passed away July 9, 2010 in Seattle. He was born on December 2, 1937 on the island of Susak, Croatia, the son of Matteo and Elena Picinich. Matteo immigrated to the United States in 1958, finally settling for the last 45 years in West Seattle. Matteo was a proud, 45-year member of Union Local 131 of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Irma; children Matt (Lisa) and Marianne (Steve); grandchildren Charlie, Maggie, Sam, Elena and Erica; his mother-in-law Franceska; his brother-in-law Ivan and two nephews: Ivan and Domenic. We love you, Dide. Viewing will be on Thursday, July 15th from 1PM a" 7PM at Howden-Kennedy Funeral Home in West Seattle, with a Rosary Service beginning at 7PM. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church in West Seattle on Friday, July 16th at 10:30AM. Interment will be at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery in Shoreline.
