Mary Diane MEGALE April 11, 1928 ~ August 31, 2009 In loving memory of Diane Megale who passed away peacefully with her family by her side, August 31, 2009 at the age of 81. Survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Joseph Megale, DMD, sons Joseph V. Nicholas (Julie), daughter Annette (Tom Lehner), Theresa (Jason Madle), Regina (Paul Hildebrandt), Maria (Kevin Olson), Lisa (Andre Barnecut), loving grandchildren Susan, Domenica, Kirsten, Ana, David Joseph, Angelina and Isabella. Diane dedicated her life to her family and her countless hours of commitment in raising her children in the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Walter and Bill Kremmel and sister, Gwen Welch. After graduating from Immaculata High School in Portland, she worked for the telephone company eight years, met her husband, married and raised seven children. After her husband retired, they enjoyed traveling together until she became ill with kidney failure. She was on dialysis for four years, three days per week. She never complained of her fate, but was thankful for the opportunity to be kept alive by a machine that allowed her to experience the birth of two grandchildren, ages 3AA and 4 years old. The family wishes to thank all of the dedicated healthcare services of the Polyclinic Swedish Hospital and Da Vita Dialysis of West Seattle for their dedicated dialysis attention to her every need. A Rosary Service will be held on Monday, Sept. 7th at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in West Seattle where a Mass of the Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to be held at the parish hall and interment at Holyrood Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
