Margaret Louise Dellavecchia Primoli

–

Seattle, Washington

Always active and involved, Margaret was ahead of her time. As she raised her family, she worked for several companies, most notably Standard Oil of California, the Bon Marche, and finally for many years at the Seattle Police Department in central communications and the fiscal office. Upon retirement, she was a volunteer for the fledgling Crisis Clinic in between her many travels. She was known in her circle for her adventures around the world, including floating down the Amazon River in celebration of her 65th birthday. She was very proud of the fact that in her worldwide travels she visited every continent except Antarctica. Margaret also loved to travel within the United States, and with her growing family of seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, she had many occasions to see this land that she loved.

Her many passions included all things Italian, the Italian Independent Society, the West Side Civic Club, travel, education, and her gourmet cooking; these, however, were surpassed only by her love for her family: Margie and Jim Lambo, Dennis and Patricia Primoli; her grandchildren Toni, Sue, Jim, Chrissie, Cathy, Cherie and Chip; and each of her great grandchildren, and sons and daughters-in-law. She also leaves countless friends across the country and throughout the world, young and old, for Margaret was essentially timeless at heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents Maria and Peter, her husband Primo, and her brother Al.

We will miss you dearly, Mom, Grandma, Nana and frienda"and will always treasure each of your 94 years with us, as well as your life which leaves us a rich and wonderful legacy.
