Louis Debortole Obituary (1921

Louis DeBortole was born in Cle Elum, WA on 11/7/21 and died 7/10/11 due to an extended illness. A graduate of Franklin High School, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1940 to 1945 and was awarded a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in the South Pacific. He was a driver-salesman for Grandma's Cookies for 31 years, retiring in 1982. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Louise, children Gene, Diane (Jordan) Vangel and Mark Giralmo (Sonja), and five grand-children, Brigetta, Sterling, Gabrielle, Stetson and Natalja and many nieces and nephews including a special nephew Steve Evankovich. Louie will be remembered as a gentle man who loved well and devotedly. Military service at Tahoma National Cemetery, Monday, July 18 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to D.A.V.
