Lorraine Marie Weber
12/31/1927 - 2/26/2015

Lorraine was born to Florence and Harold Anderson in Seattle, and was raised in Kent, Washington. Beautiful and vivacious, in high school she was chosen to be the queen of the Kent Valley Harvest Festival. After graduating from Kent High School, she went on to graduate from the University of Washington where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She was a life member of the UW Presidents Club.

She met her husband of 64 years, Robert Weber, at the University of Washington. They have two married children, Gary (Vicki) Weber and Lori (Michael) Caldwell. Lorraine and Robert's first child, Mark, died in infancy. They have three grandchildren - Ian, Brent and Jessica - and one great-grandchild - Jaela.

After college, Lorraine worked for Pacific Telephone Company as a service representative until she was about to become a mom. And what a mom she was. She was a Cub Scout Den mother, a Camp Fire Girl leader, and PTA member. If the kids were involved in an activity, so was she. Lorraine was a totally dedicated wife and mother.

As a fifty year member of Saint Monica's Parish on Mercer Island, she had been a volunteer guest teacher in art appreciation. Ryther Four & Twenty was one of her most cherished charitable interests and her club raised funds to support the Ryther child center.

Lorraine and Robert were active in YPO (Young Presidents Organization) and travelled together to many countries attending YPO Universities.

Great times were had at the family home on Lake Washington. Lorraine loved to host deck and beach parties. Many hours were enjoyed at their San Juan summer home, boating, skiing and her favorite - dance aerobics.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 11th at 11:00 AM
