Kathryn "Kay" Mary Kanis

Born Kathryn Lutovsky, July 28, 1939, Kay was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She worked for her father's grocery store, Boeing, and other jobs throughout her life, but she was a stay-at-home mother and grandmother for most of her adult life. She was also a long-running member of the St. Catherine parish. She taught CCD classes, acted as eucharistic minister, and managed the gym rental for St. C's for several decades. Kay was surrounded by her children and grandchildren in her final hours. She entered into eternal rest on the morning of July 19, 2023. She joins her husband of 60 years, Allan Kanis, in Heaven.

Kay is survived by her 3 children, Kristie (Marty), Mark (Shannon), and Michael; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and her brothers Bob Lutovsky and Larry Lutovsky and his family.
