Katherine McEwen

Katherine McEwen was born in Seattle, WA, August 11, 1953. She died of natural causes at the age of 66.

Katherine graduated from Holy Names Academy in 1971, and went on to graduate from Seattle Pacific University in 1981 with an degree in church music.

Over her working life, Katherine's dull day jobs were mostly bureaucracy and red tape. Music was her passion, and her singing voice was lovely. She served as organist and/or choir member across many churches. She played at many church and social events. For twenty-five years, Katherine's spiritual home has been St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Katherine also did volunteer work, particularly Ballard Senior Center, where she was a cheery presence one day a week.

She is survived by sister, Margaret, brother, Phil, brother-in-law, Doug, her life-long friends, and everyone whose lives she touched.

A Funeral Liturgy will take place
