Josie (Loutsis) VALIERE Born November 20, 1936 in Carnation, WA; died April 17, 2014 in Seattle. Survived by her children, Jim (Lucita), Teresa Berry, and Susann Fiske (Cary); grandchildren, Nicole, Karrie-Ann, Joe, Tyler, Sam, Brandon and Nina; great-grandchildren, Misa, Colby, Barbara, Jamael and Mack; siblings, Nick, Georgie, John (Virginia), Tony and Anna (her twin sister); a large extended family and many friends she considered family. Josie was one of 13 children born to Antonia Aronica Loutsis and Louis Loutsis. They instilled in her an unwavering faith in God and a strong work ethic. She attended high school at Holy Names in Seattle where her hope in Christ was nurtured and strengthened; she carried this hope throughout her life. Josie worked as a mechanic at Boeing for over twenty years. She was generous, loving, compassionate, and had a strong sense of social justice. Josie seemed happiest when she was feeding and caring for others. And she loved to dance.
