John Francis Voelker

John Francis VOELKER

Born July 14, 1922 in Spokane, WA; died March 16, 2013 in Seattle.

John Attended North Central High School in Spokane. He retired from the United States navy, and then found a successful career in sales. He was an avid handball player, loving father and loving husband to Joy for nearly 70 years. He was a very giving man and went out of his way to be of help to others.

John Voelker is survived by his daughters, Kathleen (Terry), Margee, Linda, Carol (Rick) and Mary Ann (Jim); 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; his brother, Charles Voelker (Jackie); sister-in-law, Lois Voelker; and a large extended family.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 26th at 10:30 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 4210 S W Genesee St., Seattle, WA 98116.
