John Richard "Dick" Lembo Obituary (1930 - 2015)

John Richard "Dick" LEMBO Born July 19, 1930 in Seattle; died December 8, 2015 also in Seattle. Survived by Frances, his loving wife of 58 years; children, Catherine Lembo, Mary Frances Lembo (John Tindall) and John Lembo (June); grandchildren, Corey, Preston, Keith, Carter and Lorenzo; his sister, Diane Lembo Talley; and a large extended Italian family. Dick was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Seattle and of the University of Washington. Although his profession was as an engineer and retired from Boeing after 34 years of service, his true passion was playing the saxophone. He has played with various swing and jazz bands over the years, including, The Esquires, Jet City (Boeing) Swing Band, Sounds of Swing and Sophisticated Swing to name a few.
