Jim Moore of Seattle, WA, age 87, died October 5, 2013. Born and raised in Grand Mound, WA, Jim served in the Army Air Corps during WWII before obtaining a degree in Engineering from Washington State University. He went on to spend 35 years with Boeing working on Missile and Space programs. In the earliest days of software, Jim gained an education that drove the last half of his career with Boeing, leading Systems Test organizations in cutting edge programs. He had a lifelong love of learning and was a believer in "do it yourself" whether cars, home, yard or finances. He held leadership positions throughout his life in his communities, organizations, and politics.

Jim is survived by his sister Laura Church, daughters Dana Moore (Geoff Rosen), Robin Moore (Damon Rolfs), grandchildren Elena, Aidan, and Colin, and close friend Myrna Haigh. Jim was preceded in death by his son Wade Moore.
