Isabel San Agustin Foronda Obituary (1929

Isabel San Agustin Foronda, 84 Born: November 19, 1929 in Manila, Philippines Died: April 1, 2014 in Seattle, Washington Isabel went peacefully in her sleep on April 1, 2014 Over the last several years she had battled diabetes, high blood pressure, and dementia as well as being a breast cancer survivor. She was preceded in death by her husband Marcelino Foronda and siblings and is survived by her daughter Julie Rose Foronda-Feighery and son-in-law Raymond Feighery of Seattle, WA as well as extended family in the US, Philippines, and around the world. Isabel was a resident of Parkwest Skilled Nursing Center for the past year and we send our immeasurable thanks to the doctors and staff for giving her such an amazing level of gentle and professional care. Previously Mom had lived at the home she had been in for almost 47 years and cared for full time by her daughter Julie Rose until her level of care went beyond our capability to provide. She had retired from Bank of America (SeaFirst) after over 2 decades of service to the Bank and was enjoying retirement until her illnesses. Viewing will take place on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Columbia Funeral Home (4567 Rainier Ave. S. Seattle, WA 98118) beginning at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary and celebration of her life to follow at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at St. Edwards Catholic Church (4205 S. Orcas St. Seattle, WA 98118) beginning at 10:00 a.m. Following the Funeral Mass Isabel's remains will be interred at Calvary Cemetery.
