Diosdado Reyes Bautista Obituary (1941

Born in Baguio City, Philippines to Nieves R. Bautista and Maximo J. Bautista (both deceased). He had been a resident of Renton, in the great state of Washington for the last 14 years. An Alumni of St. Louis University, Baguio City, Philippines, he earned a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in Accounting and passed the Philippine Board Examinations for Certified Public Accountant. Dado's professional career as a Certified Public Accountant include: The Baguio Country Club, Green Valley Baguio Hotel and Resort, Staff Instructor, Commerce Department University of Baguio, The Ambassador Hotel, Baguio City, The Regent of Manila Resort Hotel, and The Hyatt Terraces Hotel in Baguio. Additionally, Dado worked overseas as an Accountant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and in the Republica de Sao Tome, West Africa. Before migrating to the United States in 1997 he held the position of Comptroller for Bechtel (Phils), Quezon Power Generating Plant. In the United States he worked at Seattle Goodwill, then with the Port of Seattle Pier 69, and finally with NAVOS Mental Health Solutions, Seattle before retiring. Married to Florenia "Glo" Fernandez Bautista (deceased); he is survived by his children, Joseph Arnold married to Editha, Angelito Joseph married to Rustina, Anthony Alexander and Arlene Joy. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Franz Hussein & Keisha Marriame of Quezon City, Philippines, and John Joseph & James Michael of Oceanside, California. Dado is the second son of nine children, he is survived by his brothers and sisters: Ponciano "Pons" Bautista, Esther Diaz, Arthur "Archie" Bautista (deceased), Corazon "Cora" Pizarro, Victor "Vhic" Bautista, Agnes Bautista, Mario "Mars" Bautista and Hector "Hec" Bautista. Visitation is scheduled on Saturday (May 28, 2011) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Sunday (May 29, 2011) from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, followed by Funeral Services at 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm and reception at Columbia Funeral Home.
