Charles Rowland Smith

Charles is survived by his brother Kenneth Smith of Moreno Valley, CA (Virgie) and sister Laura Hines of Philadelphia, PA. His wife Judy D. Smith, daughter Robin Miller, grand-daughters Brandi Koerber (Mark), Judy Hernandez (Antonio), and Myranda Miller; followed by his many great-grandchildren Brandon, ChezaraA, Romaine, Kanye, Antonia and numerous nieces & nephews who cared for him deeply.

"Smitty, Cee-Cee, or Grandpa" as we all called him, served as a merchant marine; his favorite country was Brazil. Charles worked at the Seattle Tennis Club where he met the love of his life Judy Brown. He later worked for Todd Shipyard and Goodyear Tire Company - where he retired in 1982. Charles enjoyed refurbishing his '57 retractable Ford, collecting coins & stamps, and carpentry. He also loved listening to jazz and watching sports. Charles made many friends on his bowling team; loved to go fishing and golf. He mostly enjoyed having his family around and watching Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson movies.

Charles will be missed by family and friends, but not forgotten.
