Bluford A. Bybee Obituary (1914

Bluford A. Bybee, a long time resident of West Seattle, passed away on February 6, 2011. He was a month short of his 97th birthday. He was born on March 2, 1914. The youngest son of John and Nettie Bybee in Annis, Idaho. He married Maurine Henderson on December 21, 1937. She passed away June, 2003. He was a retired Boeing engineer, where he worked since 1941. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and attended the West Seattle Ward for 69 years. He is survived by two daughters. Marjorie Littlefield (Neil) of Cedar City, Utah and Shirley Berry (Mike) of Des Moines, Washington, 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Our family is grateful to have had him with us for so many wonderful years. He was loved by everyone who knew him. His health began to decline and it became necessary to move him from his West Seattle home to an assisted living retirement center in Federal Way. The family would like to thank the Village Green and their staff for their kindness, compassion, care and love they extended to him and to Hospice for their compassionate care during his last days. A grave side service with be held on Friday, February 11th at noon at Forest Lawn.
