Seattle, Washington
Anne was born in Pasadena, CA to Paul and Margaret Holte, and was the first in the family of nine kids. The family moved to Minnesota when Anne was very young. Then eventually moved west again to California and then to Oregon. Anne moved to Eugene after high school and attended the University of Oregon.
From Eugene, Anne made Seattle her permanent home. She only left for brief periods of time to live in Sacramento, and New York.
Anne was blessed with two children Raphael and Raiana. She was a hard working single mom who provided so much for her children.
She had a wide range of work experience. Her last job she started in 1995 as a pet store manager at Ideal Pet Stop. A perfect fit she was always surrounded by animals, and had everything from horses to a macaw.
In early 2000 Anne started a non profit organization called Pit Bull Project, dedicated to educating people on the breed and placing the dogs in suitable homes. Promoting responsible people, and happy dogs. She saved a lot of animals, giving them forever homes with families who loved them.
Anne was known for giving herself completely to others and her work. She is deeply loved and missed by the people who's lives she touched. She is survived by her two children, Raphael and Raiana, three brothers, five sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, and her two most precious babies in the world, Xavier 6 and Oziah 8 months. Her grandchildren, their NANA.
