Andrzej Z. STUDENNY, P.E. Born November 25, 1947 in Brzeg, Poland; died March 31, 2014 in Seattle. He is survived by Wanda, his loving wife of 43 years; his children, Eva and Marek; and 6 grandchildren. In Poland, Andrzej was an activist in Solidarity, an anti-communist movement. He emigrated from Poland to the United States, with his family, in 1982. As a mechanical engineer, he worked on many projects in Seattle, including the West Seattle Bridge and First Avenue Bridge. Most recently, he was Senior Mechanical Engineer for URS Corporation in Tampa, Florida.
