Jonathan Joseph Borowski

Jonathan Borowski, 31, of Snohomish, Washington, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Born December 29, 1980 in Seattle, Jonathan graduated from Mercer Island High School in 1999 and received his B.A. in Finance from Western Washington University in 2003. Jonathan worked in finance at Boeing since 2004.

As a toddler, Jon always seemed to be holding a ball in his hand. This developed soon into a love of all sports to both play and watch: baseball, tennis, soccer, football, and golf. With his love of golf, he was often found at a local course and his friends recall one of his all-time favorite ventures to the US Open at Pebble Beach. He loved fishing and always had an eye for fine cars. We will remember him for his quiet, competitive nature that included him being a seemingly invincible Scrabble opponent. He is remembered by his closest friends through his many trips to destinations like Cabo, Chicago, and Vegas, more recently spending a week in the Caribbean with his long-time girlfriend, Lisa. A few days before his passing Jon and Lisa enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Leavenworth, WA. Jonathan is survived by his parents, Ronald and Deborah, both of Mercer Island, siblings Christopher and Lauren, girlfriend Lisa and their dog Enzo.

A service was held at St Monica Catholic Church on Friday, July 6th. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association.

Jonathan will be in our memory and hearts forever.
